Most of the games in our library are titles we’ve licensed and curated for you to play. Mug Flip is different — it’s the first game built entirely in-house by Sigurstudios, hosted directly on our own site, with no third party involved. It’s a small game with a simple idea, but it marks the start of something bigger for us.
The Game
Mug Flip is built around one clean mechanic: click or tap to launch your mug from one object to the next — a table, a chair, whatever’s in front of you — and try to stick the landing. Miss your timing and the mug falls. Land it clean and you move on to the next jump, and the next, for as long as your nerve (and your aim) holds out.
It’s the kind of game that’s easy to describe in a sentence and hard to put down in practice — every run resets the pressure, and “just one more jump” does a lot of the work in keeping you playing.
Built to Play Anywhere
Mug Flip runs on HTML5, which means there’s nothing to install and nothing to wait for — open it in your browser on desktop, mobile, or tablet and you’re playing within seconds. Controls are just as simple: click on desktop, tap on mobile. No account, no download, no friction between you and the game.
Why This One’s Different
Every other game on our site was made by someone else and brought into our collection because we thought it was worth your time. Mug Flip is the first one we built ourselves, start to finish, and hosted directly on sigurstudios.com rather than pulling it in from an outside developer.
That distinction matters enough that we’ve given self-hosted originals their own home: the Sigur Games collection. Mug Flip is the first entry, but it won’t be the last — we’ve got more original, self-built titles in the pipeline, and each one will land in that same collection as it ships.
